The sparkling festival starts on Friday

ThinkFoodGroup’s annual Sparkling Festival will take place Friday through December 12 at the China Poblano and Jaleo at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. China Poblano’s star cocktail will be Winter’s Blush, $ 17 (Hendricks gin, lychee, rose, lemon and Poema cava). There will also be a sparkling flight, $ 22; a trio of sparkling take-out bottles, $ 150; and a paired bite of six siu mai trout roe, $ 18. Jaleo will have a sparkling flight, $ 32; special bubbles by the glass or the bottle; and a trio of sparkling take-out bottles, $ 250.

Wine and truffle dinner at Brezza

Wines from Pio Cesare vineyards in Alba, Italy, and white truffles from Alba will come together for a 7 p.m. dinner on December 2 at Brezza at Resorts World. The wines will be presented by Federica Boffa, fifth generation owner of the 140-year-old winery, and Nicole Brisson, executive partner / chef of Brezza, plans a menu of dishes such as veal chop rubbed with porcini mushrooms with crispy millefoglie from potatoes, toast cippolini and baby kale and sautéed spinach. Holiday fare on Water Street

Pan-Asian 8 East at Circa will host a Pop-Up Dinner in partnership with Korean Restaurant Miss Kim in Ann Arbor, Mich. On December 11. The Stirling Club will partner with Golden Rainbow for a drag brunch from noon to 2 p.m. on December 12 to benefit the organization that helps people affected by HIV / AIDS.
