By Riley Murdock (August 4, 2022, 9:55 p.m. EDT) – Nevada Supreme Court is considering ending a Las Vegas mall’s case against its insurer over whether it is owed for related losses to the pandemic, according to a series of documents filed in the high court, including a request from an insurance industry group to end the lawsuit before a jury hears it.
JGB Vegas Retail Lesee LLC, which owns the Grand Bazaar outdoor shopping center in Las Vegas, had cleared the hurdles most policyholders couldn’t: pass the litigation referral stage and go to trial.
